MURS Hand Held Radios

This is a MURS two way radio, powered by 6 rechargeable AA Batteries (included), and will last about 40 hours per charge. You are not required by the FCC to have any type of license to use the MURS radio. While not completely private, there is little other traffic on these channels, so you won’t have to worry about Junior next door listening in to your investigation on the two way radio he got for his birthday.

The MURS radio has 5 channels and 38 sub channels you can choose from, and is capable of communicating over distances of several miles (actual range will vary depending on the local terrain, but should be more than adequate for all but the most unusual cases).
